Hi. I am a freelance Copywriter and Creative Director based in Berlin, working for agencies and brands throughout Germany, Europe and the world.

I have 11+ years of work experience in advertising, and I speak, write and think in German, English and French.

Before going freelance, I was a Creative Director copy at Grabarz und Partner in Hamburg, where I oversaw the work on Volkswagen Commercial Cars France, S.A.B. Miller brand Kingswood and next-generation investment-app quirion.

Before that, I was a Creative Director at the PR-agency fischerAppelt in Hamburg, co-leading the communication efforts of their integrated team on retailer Lidl. During my time there, I helped give birth to a novelty cooking-show that successfully ran for a year, emphasizing Lidl’s new at the time strategic positioning of premium-discount-retail. I also took care of their barbecue product line and showed Germany what it means to have a BBQ state of mind as soon as spring comes around the corner.

I have worked at lots of other places and collaborated with great people on great projects. I have won some awards. I have always had fun.

Other than that, I produce electronic music and occasionally write short stories that counteract the harmful effects of feelgood literature. I live with Helena, Garfield and Leo in West Berlin.
